I am not interested in real estate but I also wish having my own flat or department.
I am like people who are living in rent room, spend a lot of money for rent, but the salary is too cheap. Saving money for buying anything valuable like flat is really problem.
Have you ever thought that turned back your hometown to work, to stay if possible? and it is good idea, isn’t it?

    Hello to all.

I am not sure how low is the income that you all trying to say. As for me, I am foreigner and trying to live like a local people. I travel daily by motorbike and living in Hem area in Binh Thanh District. My rental is VND3.000.000 and I share it with a Vietnamese mate. Our room is quite small but its really makes me feel “home sweet home”. We are lucky because its partially furnished.

In my opinion, if your budget is really low, please forget your plan to have a very nice apartment or house to rent. It will cost a lot of money and at the end, you will feel stress in everymonth whenever you need to pay your rental.

My suggestion is, find a good room for rent; preferable in a house and find some good friends to share the monthly rental. As you all are Vietnamese, owners mostly more open if you want to stay with more than 2 person. Example, VND3.000.000 and u can divide with 4 friends and I think it will be affordable. When I am searching for empty room in town, there are places with price around VND1.000.000 but what a pity, it is not for foreigner.

As much as you can, you are recommended to avoid from renting room at dirty, dangerous or noisy area. Mentally those places is not good for you to live. You had work hard for the whole day, and you should not forget to reward your self by finding and nice room to stay.
